About Hampton Inn & Suites
The Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Pleasant isn’t just another hotel – it’s a place that focuses on the little things that make a big difference, a place to create memorable experiences worth sharing, and a place that guarantees a happy stay. In fact, part of their brand message is that making each guest happy makes them happy, so to be satisfied isn’t good enough. The team at Hampton Inn & Suites wants to make sure that anyone staying with them feels at home and is pleased beyond expectation.
Conveniently located between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Arkansas on I-30, the Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Pleasant hotel is set in the heart of the Lake Country and Forest Trails region of Texas. Within the hotel you’ll find 76 clean and comfortable guest rooms and suites, an on and off-site fitness room, indoor heated pool (great during those chilly winter days), an outdoor patio, meeting rooms, business center, and breakfast area (complimentary hot breakfast from 6-10 a.m. every day). They also offer services like an on-site convenience store, safety deposit boxes, audio/visual equipment rentals, snack shop, coin laundry, and laundry/valet services.
Guests will also find the surrounding area as pleasant as the hotel itself: there’s catfish and bass fishing on Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake Monticello, and Lake Welsh just a few miles from the hotel, as well as hiking and bike riding through breathtaking scenery at Tankersley Gardens.
Couples needing a block of rooms for their wedding guests and/or a place to host a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, reception, etc. will love knowing that everyone at Hampton Inn & Suites will take care of whatever needs may arise. “Even if you run out of bobby pins or hairspray the day of your wedding, just call us and we’ll cover you,” says Cassandra Meissiner, General Manager of the hotel and recently engaged. “I go the extra mile, and if the bride needs any advice about vendors of any sort, I can help her out. I am planning a wedding for myself and know how stressful it can be, so if I can be of any assistance, I am happy to help!”
Cassandra even gives out her personal cell number so that if a guest has a question or need, no matter what time it is, she’ll be there to assist. “We try to build a relationship with all of our guests; some I know on a first name basis. A couple months ago we had a guest whose father got admitted to the hospital while they were staying with us and one of our front desk clerks made a card for them. It didn’t matter about the material – it was the thought that counted, and we were there for them every step of the way.”
Couples interested in securing a block of rooms for their wedding guests should do so as soon as they book their venue. The bride and groom get their room free when they block 15 rooms or more. Plus, no matter how many rooms they book, they will receive a complimentary romance package that includes rose petals, champagne, and a surprise gift set up in their room.
Hampton Inn & Suites definitely puts the “pleasant” in Mount Pleasant, and everyone from the newly wedded to the vacationing family will enjoy their stay 100 percent!
